Stettyn Cellar

The vineyards and farmland around Stettyn Cellar are steeped in history and tradition and represent one of the longest established family legacies in South Africa. The ancestors of the present owners, the Botha’s, acquired the farm in 1818, and the Botha family have lived on the land for 8 generations.

Wine has been part of the Stettyn story for more than a century and grape growing and wine making has benefited from the intimate knowledge of the terroir being passed from one generation to the next. Restored historical buildings, vineyards & orchards, and massive old oak trees bear testimony to a place where people have long settled, worked and prospered.

The tasting centre offers the public the oppertunity to taste the wine of the valley, while at the same time enjoying a spectacular view of the vineyards from where they originated.
