ABSA Cape Epic - Greyton
We need your help to do something AMAZING for the Absa Cape Epic
If you have a paint sprayer, a strong back, a set of old (very old) clothing and a willingness to work with a couple of crazy people, then you are just the person we're looking for!
The Absa Cape Epic is almost upon us and local artist Adèle Claudia Fouché, together with Greyton Tourism's John McGlashan, are creating the largest picture (quite possibly in the world) on the sports field next to Uitkyk School.
Theewaterskloof Municipality has been fantastic by donating four back-pack paint sprayers, but the field is ginormous and they really need a few more of those babies. Does anyone have anything similar that they wouldn’t mind us using. John assures us that the paint is water-based, which we presume means that it won’t ruin the sprayers.
Oh, and if anyone feels like helping John and Adèle would love to see you. Just one word of advice – wear the very oldest clothes you possess. The very oldest. Seriously.
Contact John on 076 393 0462 or Adèle on 082 522 4010.
